Solution to marking bubbles
During marking construction, all road surfaces should be clean and dry. Moisture is the most harmful factor in the adhesion between coatings and road surfaces. The underground moisture content is sufficient to affect the correct coating adhesion. The morning dew and fog usually cause the road surface to become damp. If there is too much moisture on the road surface, it usually causes the hot coat mark to bubble. Bubbles will form as surface bubbles and may not rupture. If this situation occurs, the marking construction should be stopped until the road surface becomes dry. The only way to determine the presence of moisture is through testing. There are many methods to test moisture. 1. Place a 30cm square thin organic glass plate (aluminum foil, etc.) on the road surface with tape and seal the edges with tape. After 15 minutes, check the bottom of the board and the road surface. If there is too much moisture, do not use hot melt marking construction. 2. Place a 45cm square tar paper on the road surface and apply a hot melt coating heated to 215 degrees Celsius on it. Wait for two minutes and pick up the oiled paper. Check the bottom surface. If there is moisture, do not perform hot melt construction. Note: If this problem occurs with the new 280 line standard coating, you can refer to this method
