A good marking paint has two important criteria for judgment: one is convenient for construction, and the other is to have a good reflective effect after construction. 1. The reason for poor fluidity of markings: Resin acts as a “solvent” in molten coatings. If there is too little resin, it means that there is too little “solvent” to drive the flow of filling materials. No matter how high the temperature is heated, the fluidity of the coating is not good, and the marked markings have poor flow level, with many pits and sanding on the surface.
2. The temperature of the coating rises rapidly and emits pungent gas. The reason for the explosion is that the heat absorption capacity of the resin is higher than that of the filling material. After absorbing heat, it can slowly increase the temperature of the coating. If the resin content in the coating is too low, the temperature of the coating will rise quickly during heating and exceed the temperature range of organic matter denaturation and decomposition in a short period of time, causing some organic matter to decompose and emit in the form of thick smoke. The gas will accumulate in the kettle and cause the explosion. Due to the presence of sulfur and benzene substances in the gas after high-temperature decomposition, the odor is pungent.
3. The reason why coatings are prone to sedimentation: Molten resin supports the entire melting system like a skeleton in the molten coating. When the resin content is relatively low, this supporting skeleton is too weak, and the filling material cannot be evenly dispersed in it, which is easy to deposit at the bottom of the cylinder and form slag like coating, making it difficult to flow out of the reactor.
