What environment is required for the construction of hot melt marking paint?

At present, the commonly used hot-melt marking coatings have a fast drying speed, but we need to consider one thing: during the construction process, the requirements for hot-melt coatings are relatively high. It is necessary to manually remove the old line, clean the road, melt the hot-melt marking paint and adhesive at high temperature (dry for 14 minutes), and then scratch the mark with a marking machine. Of course, road traffic signs are mainly used on roads, and their performance is strictly required due to exposure to sunlight, rain, wind, snow, freezing, and vehicle impact wear. Firstly, it requires short drying time and simple operation to reduce traffic interference. Secondly, it requires strong reflectivity and bright colors, so it has good visibility both during the day and at night. And it should have anti slip and durability to ensure driving accidents and service life. The reasons for the slow drying of hot-melt marking paint after structural marking are:

The standard specifies an ambient temperature of 23 ℃. Everyone should know this. When the drying time of hot melt marking paint is 23 degrees, it should not exceed 3 minutes. If the ambient temperature is higher than this temperature, the drying time will be correspondingly extended.

High road surface temperature: After the completion of the marking coating, the temperature of the asphalt road surface can reach over 60 degrees Celsius in summer due to the high road surface temperature. When the temperature of the hot-melt marking paint drops to the same temperature as the sidewalk, it will no longer cool down. The mark will no longer dry. This phenomenon usually occurs at noon (around 11:00 to 16:00). Especially the double yellow line in the middle of the road is quite severe. Due to the long sunshine hours in the middle of the road, the heat dissipation is slow.

The density of the hot-melt marking coating itself is a problem. Using excessive additives (such as leveling agents) to improve leveling, reduce coating costs, lower the softening point of marking paint, and slowly dry and soften hot-melt marking paint.
