1. The standard environmental temperature is 23 ℃. Everyone should have an understanding of this. The drying time for the hot melt marking is at 23 degrees Celsius, not exceeding 3 minutes.

If the ambient temperature is higher than this temperature, the drying time will be correspondingly extended.

2. High road surface temperature: After the application of hot-melt marking paint, due to the high road surface temperature, the asphalt road surface becomes hot in summer, with temperatures reaching over 60 degrees Celsius

After the temperature drops to the same level as the road surface temperature, it will no longer cool down, and the marking will no longer dry. This phenomenon is generally more likely to occur during the noon period (around 11-16 pm). Especially the double yellow line in the middle of the road is particularly severe. Because the sunlight in the middle of the road is long and the heat dissipation is slow.

3. The problem with hot-melt marking paint itself is that the use of resins, waxes, and other raw materials with low softening points, as well as the use of white oil, can also slow down the cooling process of hot-melt marking,

4. Adding excessive leveling agents and other additives, as well as improving leveling properties, to reduce coating costs will also lower the softening point of marking coatings,

It will also slow down the drying of hot-melt markings and make them soft.
