1、 The required heat=specific heat capacity of the substance x mass x temperature to be heated (Q=C * M * Δ T). The specific heat capacity of the substance can be measured, and the specific heat capacity of hot-melt marking paint is approximately 3.5 joules/gram/degree Celsius (slightly different manufacturers of paint). Assuming that the heat required to heat 1KG of hot melt coating from 200 ℃ to 250 ℃ is: Q=3.5 joules/gram/degree Celsius * 1000 grams * (250 ℃ -200 ℃)=175000 joules=175 kilojoules. The heat required to heat 1KG hot melt coating from 200 ℃ to 250 ℃ is 175 kilojoules. (The heat loss is not considered here, such as the insulation capacity, structure, weather, etc. of the hot melt kettle. The better the hot melt kettle, the closer it should be to the theoretical heat required. There is a big difference between hot melt kettles from different manufacturers, and a good hot melt kettle can save more liquefied gas/diesel costs in a year than you can imagine.)

2、 How much weight of liquefied gas/diesel is needed to burn 175 kilojoules of heat. The combustion value of liquefied gas is 46000 kilojoules per kilogram, and the combustion value of diesel is 42000 kilojoules per kilogram. The required mass=required energy (heat)/combustion value=175 kilojoules/(46000 kilojoules per kilogram)=0.0038 kilograms. Only commonly used liquefied gases are calculated here. Interested friends can calculate the weight of diesel by themselves. That is to say, heating 1000KG of hot melt coating from 200 ℃ to 250 ℃ requires 3.8 kg of liquefied gas to burn and release heat. At present, the price of liquefied gas varies from 7.5 yuan/kg to 10 yuan/kg depending on the region, which requires an additional cost of 28.5-38 yuan.

3、 Based on the above calculations, it can be concluded that ordinary hot melt coatings at 200 ℃ save 28.5-38 yuan/ton in liquefied gas compared to those at 250 ℃.
