Hot melt reflective road marking coating is a common road marking material with two major characteristics: reflectivity and hot melt properties. When in use, the coating should be heated to 180-200 ℃ and then sprayed onto the road surface using professional spraying equipment. The paint will quickly melt and bond with the road surface, forming clear and durable markings.
Hot melt reflective road marking coatings are mainly used on roads that require high visibility, wear resistance, and skid resistance, such as highways, urban main roads, etc. The reflective glass beads contained in the coating can reflect light under illumination, improving the visibility of markings at night or in low light environments. At the same time, the hot melt property enables the coating to maintain fluidity even in low temperature environments, with strong adaptability and the advantages of rapid drying and high construction efficiency.
When using hot-melt reflective road marking paint, the following points should be noted:
Before construction, the road surface should be cleaned and pre treated to ensure that it is dry, free of oil stains or other impurities.
When heating the coating, the heating time and temperature requirements provided by the manufacturer should be followed. Excessive temperature may cause excessive aging of the coating, while excessively low temperature may prevent the coating from melting.
When spraying, ensure that the equipment moves evenly and at a moderate speed to avoid paint dripping or uneven coating thickness.
After the spraying is completed, the road should be opened only after the marking has completely cooled down to ensure the quality and service life of the marking.
During the construction process, attention should be paid to safety, wearing protective goggles, gloves, etc.
In general, the use of hot-melt reflective road marking coatings requires mastery of corresponding construction techniques and precautions to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the markings.
