GT-RM-006 is a portable field meter for measuring the retroreflectance coefficient of linear elements with an open light path. Unit: mcd/(m ²·sr).
The main features of its research are the simulation of the night driving of motor vehicles on the highway, and the brightness of the marked (made of retroreflective material) which the driver in the cab observes after reflection on the road surface.
The instrument can measure the marked backscattering brightness coefficient under three conditions: RL dry, RL wet, and RL continuous rainfall. To support the Qd measurement mode, the Qd component needs to be selected.
