Some related characteristics of road marking construction coatings

Road marking paint is a specific guiding device device that applies lines, arrows, text, etc. Draw lines on the ground or other equipment to control and guide traffic, and disperse traffic flow. Road traffic markings should be marked with road marking construction coatings.

1. 1.Hot melt road marking paint:
   This type of coating has the advantages of fast drying, thick paint layer, durability, and good reflective persistence.
2. 2.Hot melt vibration road marking paint:
   It is developed on the basis of hot melt type and is suitable for deceleration, vibration, warning, sidelines, etc. The methods include rib shaped, dot shaped, and rain trough shaped. At present, speed bumps and sidelines on highways have been widely used.
3. 3.Waterborne road marking paint:
   Quick drying and thick film. The current shortcomings are poor adhesion and water resistance to asphalt roads. Domestic manufacturers have introduced overseas water-based marking coatings, but they have not achieved satisfactory results in the application process. Therefore, water-based paint is still in the stage of development and trial application in China.
4. 4.Composition Road Sign Paint:
   This type of coating is chemically cross-linked and cured. When constructing at room temperature, the bottom layer materials of the components should be mixed and coated on the road surface, and then the anti-skid stone material should be immediately laid flat. The stone material used for paving should be non colored and resistant to sliding, and a colored surface layer should be raised. The substrate of this coating is generally composed of a solvent-free component system, but there are some residual individual components in the coating resin, which causes less environmental pollution. Coating resins are usually acrylic resin and epoxy resin, which have good adhesion to the bottom layer, strong fusion with the ground, good wear resistance and durability, but the cost is relatively high.
