A good marking paint has two key distinguishing standards: one is convenient engineering construction, and the other is that it has a very good reflective effect after engineering construction. During the entire construction process of the marking paint project, it is inevitable to encounter some difficulties. The manufacturer of highway transportation equipment has summarized three points and looks forward to addressing some of your confusion.
1. The reason for poor flowability of road markings: Epoxy resin has the same effect as “organic solvent” in melted building coatings. If there is too little epoxy resin, it means that there is too little “organic solvent”, which cannot promote the flowability of added chemicals. No matter how high the temperature is, the flowability of building coatings is not good, and the road markings are uneven, with many dents and sanding on the surface.
2. The temperature of building coatings rises rapidly, releasing choking vapors and causing explosion accidents. The heat absorbed by epoxy resin is higher than that of adding raw materials. After digesting and absorbing the heat, the temperature of building coatings can slowly rise. If the epoxy resin composition in building coatings is too low, the temperature of building coatings will rapidly rise during heating, and in a short period of time, it will exceed the temperature range for organic compound conversion and dissolution, causing some organic compounds to dissolve and be released in the form of smoke. The vapors will accumulate in the reactor, causing an explosion. Due to the presence of sulfur and benzene compounds in the vapor after high-temperature dissolution, the taste is pungent.
3. The reason why building coatings are prone to ground settlement is that melted epoxy resin supports the entire melting system software like a frame in the melted building coating. When the epoxy resin composition is relatively low, this type of support point frame is excessively lacking, and the added chemical substances cannot be evenly dispersed in it, which is very easy to accumulate at the bottom of the cylinder and produce slag like building coatings, making it difficult to discharge them outside the reactor.
