Q1: What is the positioning and future direction of the research institute?

The research institute integrates scientific research and innovation, quality inspection, performance testing, and technical services, equipped with advanced experimental equipment and network systems, which can cover the entire chain of coating research and development, raw material evaluation, process optimization, and full life cycle assessment, providing customers with scientific, accurate, and efficient solutions.
At the same time, we are constantly strengthening industry university research cooperation and working together with top domestic universities to promote the transformation of scientific research achievements. In the future, our work direction is to promote the industry towards green, high-performance, and standardized development.
Q2: What customer needs and market requirements are mainly considered during research and development
Simply put, there are three main aspects:
Firstly, cost-effectiveness. On the premise of ensuring quality, develop more practical and cost-effective coatings to meet different customer needs.
Secondly, construction convenience and performance improvement. We will continuously improve based on the problems encountered by customers during use, making construction more convenient and product performance more stable.
Thirdly, new products and supporting development. Research and development is not limited to existing products, we will also actively expand new products and supporting materials that our customers urgently need, helping them solve more practical problems.
Q3: What do you think is the development trend of future marking coatings?
I think there are three directions:
Firstly, environmental protection. In the future, water-based, high solid, and solvent-free products will gradually replace solvent based products. At the same time, we will use low-carbon bio based materials and low VOC raw materials to reduce our dependence on petroleum products.
Secondly, intelligence. With the development of autonomous driving, marking coatings need to be matched with intelligent driving, which poses new requirements for our research and development.
Thirdly, fast drying technology. In addition to the fast drying advantage of hot-melt coatings themselves, the fast drying technology of solvent based, especially water-based coatings, will be the focus, which can significantly shorten the construction period and reduce the impact on traffic.
