2、 What is a colored anti-skid road surface

Colored anti-skid pavement is a type of pavement that is made by laying wear-resistant and high polishing value aggregates on the original pavement structure, forming a certain structural depth on the surface of the pavement, changing the contact point between the tire and the pavement, and greatly improving the friction coefficient of the road surface. Its thickness is generally 1-5 mm, also known as thin anti-skid pavement; Colored anti-skid pavement is a type of anti-skid pavement formed by using high-performance wear-resistant materials with various colors during the installation of anti-skid pavement.

4、 Types of colored anti-skid pavement

1. Colored anti-skid pavement can be divided into three categories based on the type of bonding material: acrylic acid, epoxy resin, and polyurethane.

Acrylic acid: dries quickly (drying takes about 30 minutes)

Epoxy resin: has strong adhesion, good weather resistance, toughness, and resistance to ultraviolet radiation (dried for about 2-3 hours)

Polyurethane: Good weather resistance (drying for about 3.5-5 hours)

2. Colored anti-skid pavement can be divided into quartz sand, gold steel sand, ceramic particles, etc. according to the type of aggregate material.

5、 Characteristics of colored anti-skid pavement

(1) Rapid construction, high laying efficiency, fast curing in 30 minutes, and can be opened to traffic in 2 hours.

(2) Reduce noise, with a deep structure that is conducive to absorbing sound wave noise. On cement roads, it can reduce noise by 3-4 decibels.

(3) Good anti-skid performance, can significantly increase the anti-skid performance in rainy weather, and shorten the braking distance by more than 40%. In addition, heavy trucks will not experience lock up when braking at turns.

(4) Strong mechanical properties such as compression resistance, wear resistance, and impact resistance, with good adhesion.

(5) Resistant to UV aging, strong stain resistance, oil and solvent acidity and alkalinity, bright and long-lasting color, without powdering or cracking.
