The usage method of hot melt coating

The basic construction steps of hot melt coating are as follows:
Preparation: Pour the solid powder coating into the melting kettle and heat it to 180-220 degrees Celsius to make it in a molten and flowing state. Then place the molten paint into the insulation melting hopper of the hand push marking vehicle. ‌
Marking: Adjust the gap between the marking bucket and the ground. The hot melt marking paint flows from the marking bucket into the paint bucket, and the marking car is pushed. The molten material flows away by its own weight and scrapes out a neat marking line. Adjust the equipment and automatically spread reflective glass beads evenly on the marking line. ‌

Precautions for hot melt coating construction:
Temperature control: The optimal construction temperature is around 180 ℃, and the applicable temperature range is 170 ℃ -210 ℃. Prolonged heating above 200 ℃ can cause some components to evaporate, affecting the quality of the coating; Temperatures above 230 ℃ can cause the coating to burn and change color. ‌
Impurity filtration: When adding materials to the handcart, a filter screen should be used to prevent impurities from entering and causing scratches on the markings. ‌
The use of primer: When using primer, it is necessary to wait until it is dry before applying, otherwise it may cause the marking to bubble and fall off. ‌
Environmental conditions: Avoid construction during rainy, windy, or humid weather to ensure that the road surface is clean and dry. ‌

Maintenance and upkeep of hot-melt coatings after application:
Check the construction quality: After the construction is completed, it is necessary to carefully inspect the markings to see if they meet the relevant standard requirements, and whether there are any defects or deficiencies. ‌
Remove excess glass beads: It is necessary to remove excess glass beads in a timely manner before the marking is cured to avoid affecting the reflective effect and service life of the marking.
Closed traffic: Traffic must be closed before the markings are completely dry and solidified to prevent vehicles and pedestrians from damaging the markings, ensuring their integrity and usability.
